Leonard LeBlanc, 20, of Toronto, and formerly of Memramcook, was killed Friday night (30 janvier) when the car in which he was riding went out of control on an expressway ramp and struck a pole.

He was employed with the Coleman company in Toronto for the last three years.

He was a son of Joseph T. LeBlanc and Alida LeBlanc of East Memramcook. Surviving are his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Richard (Thérèse) of College Bridge and Mrs. Henry Gautreau (Lila) of Toronto; three brothers, Walter of Memramcook, Donald of Toronto and Eugène of East Memramcook; four step-sisters, Mrs. Emile Gould (Rita) of Leominster, Mass., Mrs. Joseph Richard (Bertha) of Sackville, Mrs. Emile LeBlanc (Marie) of Memramcook and Mrs. Antoine Bourgeois (Clara) of East Memramcook; and one step-brother, Yvon LeBlanc, of East Memramcook.

The body is resting at Dupuis funeral home in Memramcook with service to be held Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes church, East Memramcook. I Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
